Australia Tourist Visa

The Australian government is trying to lure Indian skilled workers to its shores, according to the Australian High Commissioner for India. "India is the second largest source of skilled migrants to Australia  and we want this number to increase," said Australian envoy Peter Varghese. Australia has announced changes to its skilled migration Visa programme, a new set points test which will go into effect on 1 July 2011. The new immigration points system will put increased emphasis on work experience and high level English language ability.
